Happy 2nd Birthday, Baby! (",)

“This is my wish for you: Comfort on difficult days, smiles when sadness intrudes, rainbows to follow the clouds, laughter to kiss your lips, sunsets to warm your heart, hugs when spirits sag, beauty for your eyes to see, friendships to brighten your being, faith so that you can believe, confidence for when you doubt, courage to know yourself, patience to accept the truth, Love to complete your life.”

How time really flies...roughly 2 years and 9 months ago, my OB and the sonologist who did my ultrasound told me that having Gabriel is a miracle since I have polycystic ovary syndrome

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common female endocrine disorders. PCOS is a complex, heterogeneous disorder of uncertain aetiology, but there is strong evidence that it can to a large degree be classified as a genetic disease.[1][2][3]
PCOS produces symptoms in approximately 5% to 10% of women of reproductive age (12–45 years old). It is thought to be one of the leading causes of female subfertility [4][5][6] and the most frequent endocrine problem in women of reproductive age.[7]
The principal features are anovulation, resulting in irregular menstruationamenorrhea, ovulation-related infertility, and polycystic ovaries; excessive amounts or effects of androgenic(masculinizing) hormones, resulting in acne and hirsutism; and insulin resistance, often associated with obesityType 2 diabetes, and high cholesterol levels. The symptoms and severity of the syndrome vary greatly among affected women.

Most women who have this disorder experience difficulty in conceiving. Some of my friends know people who took 5 to 10 years and sometimes with medication to get pregnant.

My baby Gabriel Johan is now 2 years old...Thank God for miracles! :)

At Starbucks, SM Northwing after dinner :)

A year ago, we had a party to celebrate his first birthday but this time, I agreed to be more practical and just have a simple dinner with the family. We weren't able to wake up early and hear mass this morning but like last year, we just went to visit the Basilica Minore del Sto. Nino. :)

Btw, thanks, Ate Marilou, for sharing the very beautiful and inspiring quote above. :) I'm supposed to use it on Gabriel's scrapbook that I have yet to start. Haha!

Dearest Gabriel,

Happy happy 2nd birthday, Baby!
Thank you for coming to our lives and brightening our days.  You are a true blessing from God. :)

Mama's wishing that you'll grow up to be very fine man..for you to find good friends who will also influence you to be the best you can be and will be there for you through good and bad times. It doesn't have to be a lot, a few true and good ones are enough. Keep in mind that your family (Mama and Papa) and extended families will always be here for you. Lots of people love you. Always remember that.

I pray that you will be a kind and loving person to everyone. That faith will make you strong and keep you close to God. Aim high, dream BIG, but keep your feet close to the ground

And may your life be filled with love, joy, faith and much much blessings. ;)

I love you so much, Gabriel!

Hugs and Kisses,
Mama
