Helping the Victims of Typhoon Sendong


I just posted an hour ago how I had small miracles last week and how we (in Cebu) were not much affected by the typhoon. However, when I logged in to my yahoo account and checked the news, this is what greeted me: Flash floods kill at least 450 in Philippines. I have been busy with the usual Christmas rush plus Gabriel monopolizes the TV/DVD and haven't seen the news lately...and the news surprised me. I thought the typhoon wasn't that strong. :( Iligan is also the hometown of a friend so I was really sad to learn this news, especially a week before Christmas. :(







Let's send some miracles to our kababayans in Mindanao through NGO's or Red Cross...Again, here's the address and account number of Philippine Red Cross (first posted this info here):

Edit as of 12.19.11: Death toll from typhoon Sendong (International Name: "Washi") has risen to 652 with 808 still missing. And it's also possible that there are still some people that are not yet accounted for. :(
