"Little Christmas Tree
No one to buy you, give yourself to me
You're worth your weight in precious gold, you see
My little Christmas tree...
...And there'll be peace on Earth when Daddy lights your star
My little Christmas tree"
This is a picture of my little Christmas tree I bought in Carbon, Cebu for less than Php100 bucks! I remember being so happy to have gotten a bargain. :) Used to put this in my office table, then in my room when I was still staying in my sister's home. Now that I have my own family though, we have a not-so-bigger tree for the little boy (soon to be little boys)... ^_^ But this small tree will always hold a special place in my heart. <3
So why post this one today? Well, you are probably not a Filipino if I have to explain this to you..It's September 1st! And for us, "ber" months officially means it's Christmas Season!!!
So, let me be one of the first people to greet you a Merry Christmas! I hope our Christmas will all be merry and bright ;)

P.S. I hope everyone stayed safe from the 7.6 quake (originally posted as 7.9 by USGS at the epicenter in Sulangan, E. Samar) last night. It wasn't that strong here in Cebu but we felt it and it lasted for about a minute. Here's a link for USGS info: http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/eventpage/usc000cc5m#summary). A Tsunami alert level 3 (which means immediate evacuation) was raised in coastal areas near the epicenter but thank God, no huge tsunami's came). Keep safe! xoxox
